Happy Wednesday Everyone!!!
Hope you’re all doing well!!!
Reading was going so good until the weekend ☹. Over the weekend my recovery hit a little bump. I wasn’t feeling too great 🤒 and my leg was quite painful so had to call the district nurse to come out to check my wound and dressing on Monday. Turns out I may have an infection starting somewhere below the surgery wound 😢. My doctor has started me on some strong antibiotics yesterday so hopefully they will start working soon and I can get back on track with my recovery and also get back on track with my reading.
Anyway let’s get into what you’re all really here for this weeks WWW Wednesday!!!
What is WWW Wednesday?
All you have to do is answer 3 simple questions:
What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you plan to read next?
The Betrayals by Bridget Collins – I received an stunning physical ARC of this book in the post on last week thanks to LoveReading UK and the publishers. I was planning to add it to my September TBR but I couldn’t resist.
Dear Justyce by Nic Stone – After hearing this one was available on NetGalley, I had to request a copy. I really enjoyed Dear Martin and hoping this one will go in the same direction.
Sepulchre by Kate Mosse – I’ve nearly finished this one. I have about 104 pages left to till I finish. I ended up downloading the audiobook and alternated between the two. I really enjoyed the first book Labyrinth and this one is pretty good too. I should hopefully be finished with this one by the weekend if not sooner.
With Her Fists by Henry Roi – Yay!!! finished this one over the weekend. It was a good read but I did struggle in places. Hopefully I will be able to explain all in my review.
Blind Isolation by Henry Bassett – Another book I finally finished. I can’t believe it took me so long to read this 32 page book. It was an interesting read and in a strange way I liked it.
The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins – I finally finished the audiobook. I was so looking forward to reading this book. It was good but at the same time but sadly it was a bit of a disappointment.
I’m really struggling to concentrate while reading and listening to audiobooks so if I manage to finish my current reads I hope to pick up either Origin by Dan Brown or Sleeping Beauties by Stephen King
