Hey everyone!!

A big THANK YOU to the lovely Danni at For Books Sake for tagging me to do the Reading Habits Book Tag! Sorry for the delay once again, I’m so bad at keeping up with my tags, I know you tagged me back in March !!!

This post was found on Jenniely’s blog, and was originally created by TheBookJazz.

1. Do you have a certain place at home for reading?

Yes, I do!! Like yourself Danni I too love The left corner of the sofa. We just got recliner sofa’s so also put my feet up and have my cosy blanket to hand. I also love reading in bed, under another cosy blanket in winter or with the fan on in the summer. I also like reading in the garden but don’t do it very often as I don’t like insects.

2. Bookmark or random piece of paper?

Well, I normally start off with a bookmark but by the end I mostly end up with random pieces of paper. As I keep misplacing my books

3. Can you just stop reading or do you have to stop after a chapter/a certain amount of pages?

I prefer to stop at the end of a chapter too, but if I can’t then it has to be the end of a page as long as the sentence ends. And if I still can’t do that then it has to be at an end of a sentence.

4. Do you eat or drink while reading?

It all depends on what format I’m reading. If I’m reading a physical book then no, but if it’s an audiobook or an eBook then yes.

5. Multitasking: Music or TV while reading?

Yes, always have something on when reading during the day!!! I can’t read in silence. Reading in silence makes me feel so sleepy, so only do that if I’m reading before going to sleep.

6. One book at a time or several at once?

Definitely several at once. But nearly always in different formats.

7. Reading at home or everywhere?

I do most of my reading at home but I can and will read anywhere I can.

8. Reading out loud or silently in your head?

Definitely silently!

9. Do you read ahead or even skip pages?

I try very hard not to but have done it occasionally especially when the book has been super boring and I know it’s not going to get any better. These are the books that I normally end up DNF-ing.

10. Breaking the spine or keeping it like new?

I try not to break the spines on my brand new books but sometimes it’s just so hard!!! Most of my books on my shelves have no broken spines and are in perfect condition. I don’t mind broken spines on charity books but then again I’m pretty lucky as the charity shop I usually buy from have books in really good condition. In fact, I’ve brought some books that look brand new.

 11. Do you write in your books?

NO WAY!!! I remember having to do it at school and for uni and I hated it. I’d rather use a piece of paper or post it notes to write my notes on.

Readabits Questions:

1. When do you find yourself reading?

Whenever I can, but I tend to get a lot of reading done either first thing in the morning or before bed.

2. What is your best setting to read in?

Sitting in my favourite spot on the sofa with a pillow and my cosy blanket/fan depending on weather or in my bed with the same.

3. What do you do first — read or watch?

I try to read first if I can.

4. What form do you prefer? Audiobook, e-book, or physical book?

I don’t mind which format as long as it’s some sort of book. But I do prefer physical books.

5. Do you have a unique habit when you read?

I can fully pay attention to my nephew while still reading my book. His amazed as to how I know what his doing even while reading.

6. Do book series have to match?

This is a hard one to answer as it all depends on the series. I try to make sure they match but I have a couple of series where they don’t yes they don’t look as pretty but I wouldn’t replace them either. Unless I find good condition ones in the charity shop.

That’s all for now!!!
