Blog Tour Spotlight: Wild and Country by Emmanuelle Snow

Hi Folks!!

Hope you’re all doing well!

I’m back for my stop on another exciting blog tour organised by the wonderful Shalini at Digital Reads Media.

Today’s tour is for another brand new book by Emmanuelle Snow’s, WHISKEY AND COUNTRY and for today’s post I’m sharing some details about the book!!

BOOK BLURB:

He’s the best man and I’m the maid of honor at our best friends’ wedding. They both warned us off each other. Together, we’re dynamite. How long till we get burned?

All my life, I thought I was the wild one, but little did I know someday I would meet my match. His name, Tucker Philips. Fun fact, he’s Chicago’s number one womanizer. And as of recently, my kryptonite.

The first time I lay eyes on him was at our best friends’ bachelor/bachelorette party. Minutes after I swore I was done with men. FOREVER.

Yes, I wanted nothing to do with the one species who manipulated and broke my heart multiple times in the past anymore. Been there. Done that.

Until he happened. And wreaked havoc all my plans.

And surprise, life also has its own plans ready for us. Very specific plans neither of us saw coming. And that could mess with our seemingly perfect lives.

As our friendship blossoms, Tucker decides we should be together. For real. No more games. No more hiding our relationship from our friends. One problem, though. With my dating history, I’m not ready to give in and let the attraction we share consume me.

No matter how cocky as hell he is or handsome and devilish he looks in his tailor suits, I won’t listen to my traitorous heart. I know his type. And it spells “trouble” in big bold letters.
Between us, Tucker Philips isn’t the only wild one, and I can hold my own.

I’m about to show him I won’t fall for his ways, because I master the game too. If he wants a chance, he’ll have to play by my rules too.

Can Tucker follow up with me, or will he declare game over before our relationship has even started?

Excerpt #1

Addison pushed her hair over her shoulder, her smile devilish and enticing.

“Stop looking at me like this, Tuck. I can call you Tuck, right?”

“Guess so,” I shrugged, keeping my back straight and doing my best to look unaffected by her antics. I had made a promise to my best friend. And my words counted for something. But Jesus, this woman.

“Anyway, Tuuuck,” she said, her voice sultry and sinful, putting emphasis on my name, “just so you know, I’m over men.”

Every molecule in me woke up, reacting to the intimacy of her touch. To her tone. And the luring energy emanating from her.

The heat circulating in me reached a searing point.

My grip tightened around the glass in my hand.

“You are?” I asked, my voice a loud growl, my interest in her growing with every passing second.

“Yes,” she said with a firm slant of her head. “Men break hearts. No matter how much you love them or how many times you suck their dicks in a week, they always end up breaking your heart.” She waved her fingers over me. “This means you too break hearts. I can tell. You have this thing that makes women crave you.” She leaned closer and sniffed me. Yes, she fucking sniffed me. I blinked, wondering if Addison was for real or if she was playing a game. “Oh, and you smell too,” she added, her voice a whisper against my skin.

With a step back, I lifted my arm blatantly and took a whiff of my armpit, scared I really did smell, then dropped it back down.

You’re crazy, sweetheart. I don’t smell.”

She scrunched up her nose and sighed, then waggled a finger at my face. “Nooo…not like that. You smell like sex. You probably have a big dick and are very capable with your tongue. Am I right?”

Who was this girl, and where had she come from? No wonder Nick warned me off her. I was wrong when I thought she was trouble. She wasn’t. She was pure evil. Sent on this earth to be the end of me. I realized I had to be careful. All this time, I thought I was a player. But here she was—pure dynamite. And could play the game too.

Excerpt #2

“Fucking stupid idea,” I grumbled, jumping to my feet and rubbing my hands together to remove any dirt residue. With a grimace, I pinched the ripped fabric as irritation boiled my blood. “Look at me now. I’ll spend the rest of the night half-naked. Great. What a wonderful idea you had there, Wilde. Come on, if you’d wanted another glimpse of me, all you had to do was ask. I would’ve even given you a run for your money.”

Addison ate the distance between us and burst out laughing, her laughter so warm and contagious that some of my anger dissolved, and I joined in. Yeah, I appeared ridiculous, no doubt.

“Tuck, I gotta say, you do look stupid. Not sure your pricey shirt can carry off this new design. Lucky you, you have pretty nipples. You could pretend you got hurdled by a flock of needy women on your way here. And they ripped your clothes off with their long fingernails. Or their teeth. People would get engrossed in such a story. Super believable. They’d all talk about it, and you’d be a hero.”

I blinked. And I blinked again. She nodded, seeming convinced by her retelling of events that had never happened. Addison Wilde was… Jesus… For once, I had no idea how to describe her. Some of her last words replayed in my head.

“Pretty nipples?” I had fucked my share of women and never had any of them tell me my nipples were pretty.

Addison grinned. What was wrong with her? Couldn’t she share my anger instead of complimenting my freaking tits? Pecs. Geez, she was toying with my mind now. Every parcel of it.
