Never have I ever… read a later book in a series – before reading the first book.

Oh I seem to do this all the time. Although in most cases it’s because I didn’t actually know it was part of a series until I’ve started the book.

Never have I ever… burned a book.

WHY would anyone ever burn a book? I’ve NEVER done this and never will!!

Never have I ever… read a book I knew I would hate.

I don’t think I’ve done this. Like Danni I’ve picked up books I’m not if I would like but definitely never a book I knew I would hate.

Never have I ever… written a fanfiction about my favourite books.

Nope never done this and don’t think I ever will!

Never have I ever… loved a book when I was young, yet hated it when I got older.

Not that I can think of, but mind you i’ve not re-read many books from my childhood as an adult, and the ones I have I’ve still loved!!

Never have I ever… dressed up as one of my favourite literary characters.

No definitely haven’t done this!!

Never have I ever… hated a book by an author I love.

I have!! but there are only a handful for books.

Never have I ever… gone into a bookstore to buy one book and come out with many more.

I’m guilty of this!! I do it ALL THE TIME!! I think almost all bookworms are guilty of this!!

Never have I ever… read the ending of a book before reading the beginning.

Nope I’ve never done this, I don’t actually see the point of doing this!!

Never have I ever… read a book without the dust cover.

I always take the dust cover off when reading. I find not only do they get damaged but they get in the way when I’m reading.

Never have I ever… skim-read nearly half the book.

I have skim read paragraphs but never half the book.

Never have I ever… pretended to have read a book that I haven’t.

Nope never done this, I don’t see the point in saying you’ve read a book if you haven’t.

Never have I ever… seen the movie before reading the book.

I do this all the time. Sometimes this is is when I find out that the movie is actually based on book.

Never have I ever… had a book boyfriend.

I’ve loved the many characters but I’ve never really used the term book boyfriend .

Never have I ever… read a history book or anthropology book for fun.

I’ve definitely done this!! I love reading history books. I find them really interesting!!

Never have I ever… picked up a book based on the cover alone.

I don’t do it very often but I’m definitely guilty of this!! I think almost all readers are guilty of this.

Never have I ever… bought multiple books in a series without having started it.

Yep another one I’m guilty of this. I collected all the books in The Games of Throne Series before actually starting them. But I’m pleased to say I have finished all the books!!

Never have I ever… kept reading a series even if I didn’t love the first book.

I have done this, as sometimes a series needs time to develop. Saying that if I didn’t enjoy the first book or the second then I don’t bother.

Never have I ever… kept buying books even though my bookshelves are full of unread books.

100% Guilty of this, and honestly I don’t think I’ll ever stop!! My shelves will never be empty of unread books!!

Never have I ever… bought/read a book because of a booktuber/book blogger.

I may not always read the books straight way but I love reading books mentioned by booktubers/book bloggers. I’ve actually discovered some great reads and some new authors.

Never have I ever… given a book as a shower, birthday, Christmas, graduation, or wedding gift.

It depends on the person I’m gifting!! But, if I know they love reading reading then I nearly always gift a book.

Never have I ever… thrown away or donated a book you really wanted to keep?

I’ve never done this. I keep all the books I really want to keep!!

Never have I ever… written in a book.

Sadly I have written in a book and it was a painful process. The last time I wrote in a book was when I was at school and my English teacher made us write in our books!! I never did like her!!
