WWW Wednesday – 20th October 2021

Happy Wednesday Folks!!

Hope you’re all doing well!! Welcome to this weeks WWW Wednesday!!

So, since last weeks post nothing exciting has happened, I spent my week days just chilling as I wasn’t feeling a 100%. Think I was just a bit run down as felt fine by the weekend, which was lucky as I had a busy weekend. I finally got to meet up with my best friend, who I hadn’t seen in nearly over 2 years!! We went out for lunch and then spent the rest of the day chilling at home. I also had my nephews around again this weekend so spent lots of time playing and fun thought I was coming down with yet another cold, but lucky it didn’t develop into anything just had a bit of a stuffy nose which cleared up quickly!!

On the reading front it wasn’t a bad week either!! So, here’s my update for this week!!

What is WWW Wednesday?

It’s a weekly meme that I first discovered on Roachies Reviews blog, and that is originally hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

All you have to do is answer 3 simple questions:

What are you currently reading?

What have you recently finished reading?

What do you plan to read next?

This week I started 3 new books!! I’m not very far into these but they’ve all started off promising!!

The first book I started this week is Warcross by Marie Lu. I’ve being eyeing this one up for a while, but finally decided to give it a go after picking up a copy from the library. I’m only 10 chapters in but I’m liking what I’ve read so far, let’s hope this doesn’t disappoint as I know it was quite a hyped book when it first came out!!

The second book I’ve started is The Castaways by Lucy Clarke. This is another book I’ve been looking forward to reading. I’m only a few chapters in so can’t really say much about it, but if it’s like any of the previous books then I know I’m in for a great read.

The third book I started was The Replacement by Melanie Golding. This is the last eARC on my NetGalley shelf!! I started this one yesterday morning I’m only 4 chapters in but I’m already hooked and can’t wait to read more.

I’m also still working my way through Circus of Wonders by Elizabeth Macneal. I’m just over halfway in this book and am loving it but due to other reading commitments I had to put this aside but I’m hoping to have it finished by the weekend.

Midnight in Everwood by M.A Kuzniar – Ok, technically I haven’t finished this book as yet but will definitely have it finished by this evening as I only have 10%.

Conversations at the Pond by Henry Slator – I read this for an upcoming blog tour, so won’t say very much except for I loved it. You can find out my full thoughts on Saturday when it’s my stop on the tour!!

Over My Dead Body by Jeffrey Archer – This was an ARC that I received thanks to LoveReading and HarperCollins. I’ve already posted my review for this one, so if you can check it out here if you’ve missed it.

I’m not too sure what I’ll be starting next as it depends on what I manage to finish this week!! I think I’m most likely to pick up a book from my library book stack, which seems to be growing faster than I can read the books!!

What’s  everyone currently reading, finished reading or planning to read next? Don’t forget to leave links to your WWW Wednesday

Happy Reading!!!

    • Thanks Tessa!! The last few months I’ve been trying super hard not to request any new books on NetGalley until I’d cleared the books I already had. Next goal is to clear the books I’ve received as part of review requests. And then hopefully start making a dent in my owned TBR 🙈.

Hope you manage to make some progress on your NetGalley books!! Happy Reading!! ❤❤
