WWW Wednesday – 12th May 2021

Happy Wednesday Folks!!

Welcome to this weeks WWW Wednesday!! Hope you’ve all had a great week!!

I got my second dose of the Covid vaccination!! I also couldn’t resist visiting my favourite charity shop and Waterstones, which are right next to the vaccination centre. It was so nice to be back in the bookshop and charity shop, and yes I brought some books from both places. I brought 5 books in total, 3 from Waterstones and 2 from the charity shop.

On the reading front I had another great week, so let’s get into this weeks reading update!!

What is WWW Wednesday?

It’s a weekly meme that I first discovered on Roachies Reviews blog, and that is originally hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

All you have to do is answer 3 simple questions:

What are you currently reading?

What have you recently finished reading?

What do you plan to read next?

Trespassing by Brandi Reeds – This is another book I’ve wanted to read for ages. I have the eBook on my Kindle but decided to listen to the audiobook as I found it was available on Scribd*. I’m already flying through this one!! I’m loving it so far!!

Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid – I recently got approved for this one on NetGalley. I’ve read a few reviews for this one from fellow book bloggers, and most of them have enjoyed it, so fingers crossed I will too. I’m not very far into it as yet.

My Name Is Monster by Katie Hale – I was really excited to pick this one up finally. It started off really intriguing and flew through the first half of the book but the second half of the book got a bit repetitive and now I’ve finished I honestly don’t know how I feel about it.

Forgetting Russia by Lisa Bordetsky-Williams – I finished this one over the weekend. I was a really good read. This was sent to me by the author. I won’t say too much more about this one on here as I will have a review post coming soon.

All The Little Children by Jo Furniss – This was another great read until the end. Just as everything felt like it was being rounded up nicely, something happens and we end up with a ending that suggests there is a second book to follow. At this point I don’t feel a second book was needed but I will be looking into whether it’s worth reading or not.

Breakers by Doug Johnstone – Can’t believe I waited to pick this one up!! It was another fab read. I raced through this one when when I finally picked it up after my hospital appointment last week.

Tangerine by Christine Mangan – I picked this one up from the local charity shop for 50p back 2019 and never got around to picking it up until now. I’d heard great things about this one but I’m not too sure about this one at the moment, so have put it aside and may try and give it another go at a later date.

Next up will hopefully be The Librarian by Salley Vickers. This is the final book on this months TBR. I’ve raced through this months TBR which is great as it means I can concentrate on the rest of the books I’ve been neglecting on my owned TBR.

What’s  everyone currently reading, finished reading or planning to read next? Don’t forget to leave links to your WWW Wednesday

(* You can try Scribd for 60 days for free by using my link here (or above). In return I’ll get a month free too at no cost to you)

Happy Reading!!!
