Hi Bookish Friends,
Welcome to my WWW Wednesday!
Hope you’ve had a great week!
I’ve had a mixed week. Last week ended with a pain flare up and a migraine π. Thankfully I had little to no plans over the weekend so I was able to take it easy, while the painkillers worked there magic.
The week has started off lovely. I met up with my best friend and we ended up going shopping. I brought some new trainers and added a few books to the list of books I would like to add to my collection during the next double/triple points event from Waterstones and Foyles!!
On the reading front it’s been a good week, although most of the reading came from listening to audiobooks. So, let’s dive into this weeks reading update!!
What is WWW Wednesday?
Itβs a weekly meme that I first discovered on Roachies Reviews blog, and that is originally hosted by Taking on a World of Words.
All you have to do is answer 3 simple questions:
What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you plan to read next?
The Next Girl by Emiko Jean (Physical): I’m really enjoying this one, but I just haven’t had chance to sit down with it to make the progress I’ve wanted.
The God of the Woods by Liz Moore (eBook): This one is a little slower than I was expecting but I am liking it so far!
DUST by Hugh Howey (Physical/Audiobook): I finally finished this series and overall enjoyed it. Yes I enjoyed this one and raced through it but out of the three, this was my least favourite. While it answered questions I was left with from the previous two books but it also left me with a few new ones. πππ1/2
The Memory Library by Kate Storey (Audiobook): I picked this one up knowing very little about it apart from what I’d read on back. It was in fact a book I picked up because ovr the front cover π. I did start reading this physically after my library book hold came in, but decided to swap over to the audiobook, and I’m so glad I did. This is a little different to my usual read but is one of those feel good reads which I was happy to have picked up. ππππ1/2
Next up will hopefully be my ARC of I Died On A Tuesday by Jane Corry!!
Iβd love to hear what youβre currently reading, finished reading or planning to read next, so let me know down below in the comments!! And donβt forget to leave links to your WWW Wednesday if you have one!!
