Hi Bookish Friends!!
Welcome to this weeks WWW Wednesday!! Hope you’re all doing well!!
Well, it’s been another busy week, but a fun one!!! It’s half term here meaning both my nephews are at home!! So, far we’ve visited the library, the park and have been watching lots of cartoons!!
Although my days have been very busy, I’ve had nice quiet evenings so have been able to keep up with reading. So, lets dive right into this weeks update!!

What is WWW Wednesday?
It’s a weekly meme that I first discovered on Roachies Reviews blog, and that is originally hosted by Taking on a World of Words.
All you have to do is answer 3 simple questions:
What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you plan to read next?

I’m currently working my way through 5 books!! Not sure how that happened!!
Last night I started listening to the audiobook of The Dinner Guest by B.P. Walter. This one of the books chosen by my nephew for the 23 books for 2023.
Over the weekend I picked up The Light We Carry by Michelle Obama. My library book hold finally came through!! I had to pick this up straight away as I only have it on loan for two weeks. The library has reduced the length of loans for very popular books!!
Also over the weekend I started my NetGalley eARC of The Hike by Lucy Clarke. I’m not very far into this one as I started reading this on my phone while stuck in traffic. I don’t usually like to read books off my phone but I didn’t pick up my Kindle as the journey wasn’t supposed to take so long!!
I’m also buddy reading Babel by R.F. Kuang with the wonderful Michaela over at Journey Into Books!! This is a re-read for me but am loving it just as much as the first time!!
I’m still working my way through Under The Dome by Stephen King. Since last week I haven’t made any more progress as I had to prioritise a few other reads first!!

Over the weekend, I finished Slaughtered Gods by Thilde Kold Holdt. Another fab read!! I’m actually sad that the series has ended.
I also finished The Searcher by Tana French. This is a book I was looking forward to reading after hearing some great things. But sadly it left me feeling a little disappointed. I found it rather slow and just couldn’t get into it properly.
So, technically I didn’t finish The Anomaly by Hervé Le Tellier, I ended up DNF-ing it. I picked this one up after Beth from Books Nest mentioned it in one of her YouTube videos. It sounded really intriguing and like something I would really enjoy but sadly I only got up to page 73, before deciding to DNF it. I just felt really slow and as something was lost during the translation.

Next up will be Fatal Flaw by SP Murphy!! This is my first book from BookSirens and I sounds SO good!!

I’d love to hear what you’re currently reading, finished reading or planning to read next, so let me know in the comments!! And don’t forget to leave links to your WWW Wednesday below if you have one!!
Happy reading till the next reading update!!
