WWW Wednesday – 25th January 2023

Hi Bookish Friends!!

Welcome to this weeks WWW Wednesday!! Hope you’re all doing well!!

It’s been another nice quite week since last week’s update!! I’ve spent the week catching up with hobbies that I’ve missed doing as well as chilling with my nephews. I did have some plans to go out with friends but my electric wheelchair keeps cutting out so had to cancel. I’m waiting for my new one to arrive but the delivery date keeps changing, and it’s getting really annoying now as I can’t go anywhere without worrying about getting stranded. But on a positive note, I’ve been able to get quite a bit read. So, let’s dive right in!!

What is WWW Wednesday?

It’s a weekly meme that I first discovered on Roachies Reviews blog, and that is originally hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

All you have to do is answer 3 simple questions:

What are you currently reading?

What have you recently finished reading?

What do you plan to read next?

Love Will Tear Us Apart by C.K. McDonnell – I really enjoyed reading the first 2 books in the Stranger Times series and couldn’t wait to pick up this eARC that I approved for on NetGalley. I’m not very far into this one as I only picked it up last night, but if it’s anything like the other two books then I know it’ll be a fun read!!

Under The Dome by Stephen King – I started this tome from over the weekend. I’ve had this on my TBR for years!! But my nephew picked it for my 23 books for 2023 so it’s finally being read!! I’ve watched the series a while back and enjoyed it very much so definitely know this will be just as good. I’m listening to the audiobook while following along physically.

The Passage by Justin Cronin – I’m making good progress with this tome, I have about 350 pages left, which means I’m on track to finishing it by the end of the month. I’m loving this book!!

Are You Happy Now by Hanna Jameson – I’m halfway through my eARC and loving it so far!!

This Year’s For Me And You by Emily Bell – This was January’s pick for the Facebook Book Club that I joined a few years ago. It’s not a book I would have picked up my self. It was an ok read, it was rather predictable and I worked out the end very early on!!

I’m hoping to pick up LEECH by Hiron Ennes!! My library hold finally came through!! I’ve heard some great things about this one and can’t wait to pick it up!!

I’d love to hear what you’re currently reading, finished reading or planning to read next, so let me know in the comments!! And don’t forget to leave links to your WWW Wednesday below if you have one!!

Happy reading till the next reading update!!

  1. I’m so glad you are loving The Passage. On a whim a decided to buddy read it with a few people not knowing how I would feel about it and I ended up absolutely loving the entire trilogy. I really enjoyed The Stand as well.
