WWW Wednesday – 18th January 2023

Hi Bookish Friends!!

Welcome to this weeks WWW Wednesday!! Hope you’re all doing well!!

My week has been chilled. I had a couple of doctor appointments but other than that it’s been quiet, which honestly has been really nice! My nephews are back at school and nursery so the house has been quiet during the day. This also means I’ve had plenty of time to read and even managed to catch up on a few things on my to do list!!

So, let’s dive right in!!

What is WWW Wednesday?

It’s a weekly meme that I first discovered on Roachies Reviews blog, and that is originally hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

All you have to do is answer 3 simple questions:

What are you currently reading?

What have you recently finished reading?

What do you plan to read next?

This Year’s For Me And You by Emily Bell – This is not a book I would typically pick up to read, but I’m trying to get back into reading with an online reading group on Facebook, so thought I would give it a go. Not too sure how I feel about it. If you’ve been following me for a while you’ll know I struggle with Romance books. But I do love a challenge!!

Are You Happy Now by Hanna Jameson – I was sent an eARC widget for this one by the publisher and I couldn’t say no, especially after enjoying The Last by this author. I’m not very far into this one at the moment. as

The Passage by Justin Cronin – I’m still working my way through this tome!! I’m making good progress, and am enjoying it more this time around. I am aiming to finish it by the end of the month!! 🤞

SPARE by Prince Harry – So, I finished this one on Friday. It was an interesting read, especially when it came to Prince Harry’s mental health and how he dealt with everything, but I wasn’t quite blown away by it. I’m still trying to get my thoughts together, so I will try and get something readable together, hopefully.

Pachinko by Min Jin Lee – I finished this one over the weekend and what a beautifully book. I learnt quite a lot and can’t believe I waited so long to pick it up.

One Visit by George Veck – I finished this one Sunday evening. This one was a little slow to get going, but once it did turned out to be a good read.

Next up I’m hoping to pick up Love Will Tear Us Apart by C.K. McDonnell. I’ve been working my way through the series after I was approved for all three books on NetGalley. I’ve enjoyed the first two books and can’t wait to pick this one up!!

I’d love to hear what you’re currently reading, finished reading or planning to read next, so let me know in the comments!! And don’t forget to leave links to your WWW Wednesday below if you have one!!

Happy reading till the next reading update!!
