My Thoughts

Prickles and Primrose are back. This time their back to help Willow a local witch. They want to help her find some new friends and help celebrate her birthday as she is feeling lonely and sad.

I read this with my nearly 3 year old nephew. He didn’t quite manage to sit through the whole book and didn’t really understand the important themes but we did make our own story up using the cute illustrations, which he enjoyed very much.

I thought this was a well written, fun and cute story, with important topics, such as never judge people by their looks. This is a great book for younger readers but think some adults would learn a thing or two from this book as well.

As with the first book Hoglets’ Christmas Magic this one is filled with clear, bright and cute illustrations which everyone will adore.

A great book!! my nephew and I can’t wait to see what adventures Prickles and Primrose will be off on next.

A big thank you to White Rabbit Books and Lynette Creswell for my eARC in exchange for my honest and unbiased thoughts.
