WWW Wednesday – 14th December 2022

Welcome to this weeks WWW Wednesday!! I hope you’re all doing well and have had a great and safe week!!

We finally got some snow!! It looks lovely outside, but the downside of snow is having to cancel plans as I can’t get out the house with my wheelchair!!

Also, I had my 8 year old nephew over as his school is closed for the week, so I’ve had to supervise his online classes for the last few days while my brother and sister in law were working.

On the reading front, it’s been a pretty steady week. So, let’s get into this weeks reading update!!

What is WWW Wednesday?

It’s a weekly meme that I first discovered on Roachies Reviews blog, and that is originally hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

All you have to do is answer 3 simple questions:

What are you currently reading?

What have you recently finished reading?

What do you plan to read next?

Unanimity by Alexandra Almeida – I’m reading this for an upcoming blog tour with Dave @The_WriteReads/@WriteReadsTours. I’m not very far into this one as I only picked it up last night. But it sounds very intriguing!!

The Stranger Times by C. K. McDonnell –  I picked this one up on Monday. I was approved for the whole series on NetGalley. I’m reading this on my Kindle as well as listening to it on audiobook on Audible.

A Day of Fallen Night by Samantha Shannon – I’m almost halfway through this one. I’m still confused but still enjoying it!!

I managed to finish 3 books.

The first book I finished was The Girl in the Tower by Katherine Arden – This is the second book in The Winternight Series. Another great read.

The second book I finished was Shackled Fates by Thilde Kold Holdt. This is the second book in The Hanged God Trilogy and absolutely loved it!!

Last night I finished The Book Eaters by Sunyi Dean. I don’t know how I feel about this book. I mean I enjoyed the unique storyline but at the same time I felt something was missing. I think I need to process my thoughts on this one a little while longer before attempting to share my thoughts.

I didn’t get a chance to pick up The Winter of the Witch by Katherine Arden as my library book hold hadn’t come in on time, but it came through over the weekend, so hoping to pick it up by the weekend!

Do let me know below what you’re currently reading, finished reading or planning to read next?  and don’t forget to leave links to your WWW Wednesday below if you have one!!

Happy reading till the next reading update!!
