My Thoughts
This was an interesting reading, it’s not something I would have picked up on my own but I ended up enjoying it very much.
The story is well written and although a little slow to start the pace soon builds and kept me wanting more. The storyline is told through a first-person narrative which I thought worked well as the reader gets to know every detail. It did take me a while to get used to the writing style at first but didn’t take long to get used to it.
The characters are well done. I found them believable and relatable, especially Enzi the main character. I felt sorry for Enzi, he isn’t a bad person but life keeps getting caught up in trouble.
I listened to the audiobook that is narrated by the author himself. I thought he narrated the book well but did find it a little difficult to distinguish between the different characters but overall did a great job.
This is a great quick murder/mystery and would highly recommend it.
I would like to thank Steve for getting in touch and sending me a copy of the eBook and audiobook in exchange for my honest and unbiased thoughts.
