WWW Wednesday – 23rd November 2022

Welcome to this weeks WWW Wednesday!! I hope you’re all doing well and have had a great and safe week!!

I’ve had a great week, it’s been a pretty quiet one compared to busy ones I’ve been having the last few weeks. I didn’t really get up to much, I spent most of the week just chilling at home and spending time with my nephews.

The quiet week also meant I was able to catch up on BookTube videos and of course spend more time reading!!

So, let’s get into what I actually managed to pick and read!!

What is WWW Wednesday?

It’s a weekly meme that I first discovered on Roachies Reviews blog, and that is originally hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

All you have to do is answer 3 simple questions:

What are you currently reading?

What have you recently finished reading?

What do you plan to read next?

This week I picked up 2 new books. The first book is The Battle Of The Beast by Jack Meggitt-Phillips. I was lucky enough to receive a finished copy to review from Amazon. I started this over the weekend with my nephew and we are both loving it so far. We are meant to read it together but I will probably go ahead and finish it first as we only get the weekends to read it together.

Last night I picked up I’ll Find You by Dan Clark. I’m not very far into this one, but I loved the last book from this author so have everything crossed that this will be just as good.

I’m also still working my way through The Empire of Gold by S. A. Chakraborty. I’m almost at the halfway point. I haven’t been able to read anything since Thursday as I had to return my physical copy back to the library. I found the audiobook on Scribd* so will continue to listen to the rest of the book.

I recently finished 3 books. The first book I finished was I read this for an upcoming blog tour organised by Dave @The_WriteReads/@WriteReadsTours. I won’t say too much about this book except for what a fab read it was!! My stop is on Monday 28th November so you can find out my full thoughts then!!

The second I finished was The Nightmare Man by J.H. Markert. Overall this was a good read but at times I just found it to be a little slow. I’m hoping to share my thoughts on this one soon so keep an eye out.

The third book I finished was The Things That We Lost by Jyoti Patel. This was another NetGalley eARC. It was a great read, yes there were some difficult parts in the book but I could relate to so many things in this book! Again I am hoping to share my thoughts on it soon so do keep an eye out for my review post.

The next book I’m hoping to pick up is Paper Targets: Art Can Be Murder by Steve Saroff and it sounds really interesting. I will be reading this on my Kindle as well as listening to the audiobook as the author kindly sent me both formats.

Do let me know below what you’re currently reading, finished reading or planning to read next?  and don’t forget to leave links to your WWW Wednesday below if you have one!!

(* You can try Scribd for 60 days for free by using my link here (or above). In return I’ll get a month free too at no cost to you)

Happy reading till the next reading update!!
