Welcome to this weeks WWW Wednesday!! I hope you’re all doing well and have had a great and safe week!!
The end of last week was a little busier than planned, but since Saturday things have been nice and quiet. So, far I’ve spent my time relaxing, reading and shopping for gifts for some upcoming birthdays and Diwali.
It’s been a great reading week again, so let’s dive right in!!!
What is WWW Wednesday?
It’s a weekly meme that I first discovered on Roachies Reviews blog, and that is originally hosted by Taking on a World of Words.
All you have to do is answer 3 simple questions:
What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you plan to read next?
Over the weekend I picked up Anxious People by Fedrik Backman. I’m buddy reading this with my best friend.
I also picked up my NetGalley eARC Happy New Year by Malin Stehn. I’m not very far into this one but the premises sounds so good and really hoping it turns out to be a good one!!
And on Monday I picked up Fear Ground by Jennifer Killick. I’m loving this one!! It is perfect for spooky season!!
The first book I finished was Verity by Colleen Hoover. This was a good read, but I wasn’t blown away by it and honestly can’t see what all the hype was about.
The second book I finished was The Cruise by Catherine Cooper. I ended up really enjoying this one. The multiple storylines that were confusing me all came together and there were some interesting twists I didn’t see coming!!
On Monday I finished listening to The Retreat by Sarah Pearse. I’m not too sure how I feel about this one. It wasn’t bad but I thought I would have enjoyed it a bit more. It felt a little to similar to the author’s debut novel The Sanatorium.
Next up I’m hoping to pick up Hide by Kiersten White. My library book hold finally came through. I can’t wait to pick this one up, it sounds so good!!

I was curious about Verity. People seem to love her books so much but I’ve never read anything by her. Happy reading!

Verity is the first book by her that I’ve read and although I liked the plot, I don’t think I’ll be picking anything else up by her any time soon.

I still haven’t read anything by Backman but I do have this on my TBR. I hope you’re enjoying it and enjoy all your other reads as well! 😊

This is my second book by Backman, the first was A Man Called Ove. This one is a little weird to start with but liking it so far! 🙂
