Welcome to this weeks WWW Wednesday!! I hope you’re all doing well and have had a great and safe week!!
I’ve had a much quieter week this week. Yes I’ve been busy with some family commitments during the week, but I had a nice relaxing weekend. I basically spent the whole weekend in the garden enjoying the lovely weather and I also tried out some diamond painting that I was sent to test out. It’s just some basic flowers. I’m currently working on a sunflower picture. I also managed to schedule some posts for this week, and of course did lots of reading!! It was really nice to just chill!!
On the reading front it was a good week. So, lets dive into this weeks update!!
What is WWW Wednesday?
All you have to do is answer 3 simple questions:
What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you plan to read next?
I finally picked up One of the Girls by Lucy Clarke. It’s really intriguing and I’m really liking it so far, I’m almost at the halfway point!
My audiobook hold of Magpie by Elizabeth Day came through so I thought I better start it before it was due back as there is a long wait time for it if I don’t finish it in time. I’m not too sure about this one at the moment. I mean I’m enjoying it so far but I’m not blown away by it as yet.
On Monday I started 11.22.63 by Stephen King. This is my second Stephen King buddy read as we both flew through the first book we had chosen. This is another re-read for me.
The first book I finished was The Pharmacist by Rachelle Atalla. This book started off really intriguing but did struggle with in places. I didn’t end up loving it as much as I was hoping to but was still a good read.
It’s been a while since I’ve finished a physical read so fast but I finished my buddy read of Misery by Stephen King. As I mentioned in last weeks post this was a re-read for me but I loved it just as much as I did the first time I read it!!
Over the weekend I finished listening to Do No Harm by Jack Jordan. This was my first book by Jack Jordan and after reading this one won’t be my last. Absolutely loved this thriller!!
My audiobook hold for The Golden Couple by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen came through on BorrowBox so really hoping to pick this one up next.
Do let me know below what you’re currently reading, finished reading or planning to read next? and don’t forget to leave links to your WWW Wednesday below if you have one!!
Happy reading till the next reading update!!
