Snow Angels – What’s a book that you love so much you would want to be buried with it

For this I’m going to say Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts. This one of my all time favourite reads.

Warm Socks – What’s a book that makes you feel warm inside?

I’m going for the same one as Stephen and say With the Fire on High by Elizabeth Acevedo. This was the first book that came to mind when I read the question!!

Hot Cocoa – What winter-themed novels have you previously read? 

I’ve read quite a few but the ones that come to mind are:

The Northern Lights/The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman

The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S.Lewis

Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie

The Silver Road by Stina Jackson

Sledding – What’s a book with the best plot twists? Who’s an author that always keeps you on your toes? 

Again there are quite a few but the most recent one I read was The Burning Girls by C.J. Tudor. She is also an author who has exciting twists that I never see coming.

Ugly Sweaters – What’s a book with the ugliest cover?

Ok for this one I’m going with the hardback cover of Good Enough by Jen Petro-Roy. The cover put me off even looking at what the book is about!!

Snow Day – What’s your “comfort” book?

Not sure how many people will agree but comfort read is IT by Stephen King. I have read this book so many times that I have copies in different formats (1 paperback, 1 audiobook and one eBook copy.

Movie Marathon – What’s the last book you binge read?

The Boy In The Well by Dan Clark. This is the last book I just binged through I like to read read multiple books at once but when I started this I just had to finish it. It was a brilliant read. You can check out my thoughts here.

Letter to Santa – What’s a book that’s on your wishlist this year?

I’m trying to build on my Penguin Clothbound collection so would love to receive any one of those books. However, this year I’ve left my family and friends to choose any book they want to gift. As it’s the thought that counts so it will be interesting and exciting to see what I receive.
