WWW Wednesday – 10th November 2021

Happy Wednesday Folks!!

Hope you’re all doing well!! Welcome to this weeks WWW Wednesday!!

Wow, what a busy week it’s been this week!! It’s been non stop with Diwali celebrations!! It was great to be able to celebrate it properly this year as last year we were in a lockdown and couldn’t really celebrate it, but this year we were able to meet up with family and friends and go to the temple which was nice!!

A busy week means reading took a bit of a hit and didn’t manage to read as much as I wanted but I’m sure I will be able to get back on track by next week.

Anyway, let’s get into this weeks reading update!!

What is WWW Wednesday?

It’s a weekly meme that I first discovered on Roachies Reviews blog, and that is originally hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

All you have to do is answer 3 simple questions:

What are you currently reading?

What have you recently finished reading?

What do you plan to read next?

This week I’ve started two new reads. The first book I started is You’ll Be The Death Of Me by Karen M. McManus. I’m reading this for an upcoming blog tour organised by Dave @The_WriteReads. My stop is on 27th November so you can find out my thoughts then.

I also started the audiobook to The Man Who Died Twice by Richard Osman. My hold for this came through over the weekend on BorrowBox. I’ve only managed to listen to just over an hour so far but I’m liking what I’ve listened to so far.

I’m also still working my way through Not A Happy Family by Shari Lapena. Unfortunately I’ve not been able to pick up the book since I started it last week, but I have now downloaded the audiobook so should be able to get through it a little quicker.

The first book I finished was A Call for Brighter Days by Nupur Chowdhury. This is the second book in the The Aeriel Chronicles Series and I once again loved it!!

The second book I finished was Still Life by Sarah Winman. I’m on the fence with this one. There were some really good parts of this book that I absolutely loved and then there were some parts I didn’t enjoy as much. I’ll try to get my thought together for a review soon. At the minute I ‘m still processing what I’ve read.

Next up I’m planning to pick up The Burning Girls by C.J. Tudor!! I’ve loved all the books from this author in the past and am so excited to read this!!

What’s  everyone currently reading, finished reading or planning to read next? Don’t forget to leave links to your WWW Wednesday.

Happy Reading!!!
