Happy Wednesday Folks!!
Hope you’re all doing well!! Welcome to this weeks WWW Wednesday!!
Since last weeks post it’s been a mixed sort of week! Thursday and Friday was quiet, we didn’t have my nephews around so I managed to do lots of reading and also managed to schedule a few blog posts. The weekend however was busier. We started preparing for Diwali (which is tomorrow), we baked some cupcakes and made some Indian sweets!!
I haven’t been able to read much in the last few days but from next week my eldest nephew is back at school so should have a little more reading time during the day. We’ll still have my youngest nephew to look after but I can get a lot read during his nap time!!
Anyway, let’s get into this weeks reading update!!
What is WWW Wednesday?
All you have to do is answer 3 simple questions:
What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you plan to read next?
(Click on the book titles to find out more about the books on Goodreads)
This week I’ve started on three new reads. The first one I started is Still Life by Sarah Winman. I’m reading this both physically and listening to the audiobook. I’m not very far into this one but have heard great things about it, hopefully I won’t end up hating it, as it seems to be a trend with me at the moment.
The second book I started reading is A Call for Brighter Days by Nupur Chowdhury. Nupur sent me a digital copy of this one earlier in the year but I never got a chance to pick it up until now. Again I’m not very far into this one but I have high expectations on this one as I really enjoyed reading the first book in this series.
The third book I’ve picked up is Not A Happy Family by Shari Lapena. This is another library book that I need to read ASAP as it’s due back in December and I can’t renew it as someone else has a hold on it. Again I’m not very far into this one either. I going in with an open mind as some of her books have been a little hit or miss in the past.
This week I finished three books!! The first was The Castaways by Lucy Clarke, the second was The Replacement by Melanie Golding. I enjoyed both books!! My nephew and I also finished listening to Revenge of the Beast by Jack Meggitt-Phillips. This was a really fun read, my nephew really liked the silly bits. I’m hoping to share my thoughts on all these soon so keep an eye out!!
Not 100% sure as yet but it will definitely be something from my ambitious November TBR!!
