WWW Wednesday – 27th October 2021

Happy Wednesday Folks!!

Hope you’re all doing well!! Welcome to this weeks WWW Wednesday!!

Wow! what a week it’s been since my last reading update!! It’s been none stop socialising and although it’s been great spending time and catching up with family and friends that I haven’t seen for over a year, it’s seriously tiring!!

Also this week my eldest nephew in on half term so schools out for 2 weeks, which means lots of time having fun!!

Reading has been a little slower than usual but I’m on schedule to finish this months TBR so I’m happy!!

So, lets get into this weeks reading update!!

What is WWW Wednesday?

It’s a weekly meme that I first discovered on Roachies Reviews blog, and that is originally hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

All you have to do is answer 3 simple questions:

What are you currently reading?

What have you recently finished reading?

What do you plan to read next?

So, I’m currently still working my way through both The Castaways by Lucy Clarke and The Replacement by Melanie Golding. I’m really loving both books but just haven’t had time to pick them up.

Yesterday, I started listening to the Revenge of the Beast by Jack Meggitt-Phillips. This is the second book in the The Beast and The Bethany series. I’m listening to this one with my nephew. We loved the first book and couldn’t wait to start this one!!

Warcross by Marie Lu – I finally crossed this off my Library TBR list!! This started off really good, but by the end I wasn’t too sure about it. Once again I may be in the minority who didn’t fall head over heels in love with it. Honestly I think this was just another over hyped read!! Now the big decision to make is do I continue the series or just stop at the first book??

Circus Of Wonders by Elizabeth Macneal – This was gifted to me by my parents on my birthday back in June and just had to pick it up!! I absolutely loved this book!! It was wonderfully captivating read that I couldn’t put down.

Next up I’m hoping to pick up Still Life by Sarah Winman. I borrowed this from the library and I need to read it before it’s due back in a week as it has several holds on it and I can’t renew it. I will also be listening to audiobook as I found it was available on Scribd*.

What’s  everyone currently reading, finished reading or planning to read next? Don’t forget to leave links to your WWW Wednesday

(* You can try Scribd for 60 days for free by using my link here (or above). In return I’ll get a month free too at no cost to you)

Happy Reading!!!
