WWW Wednesday – 14th July 2021

Happy Wednesday Folks!!

Welcome to this weeks WWW Wednesday!! Hope you’ve all had a great week!!

Since last weeks post it’s been a non stop busy week. Most of the week consisted of hospital appointments, which are so tiring!! But, I did manage to find some time to catch up with some friends for a quick lunch, which was nice.

One bonus of all the hospital appointments is I managed to fit in lots of reading!! So, lets get into this week reading up as that’s what you’re all here for!!

What is WWW Wednesday?

It’s a weekly meme that I first discovered on Roachies Reviews blog, and that is originally hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

All you have to do is answer 3 simple questions:

What are you currently reading?

What have you recently finished reading?

What do you plan to read next?

Convenience Store Woman by Sayaka Murata – This is another book I was planning to read physically but the waiting time for this one from my library is insane. When I placed my hold I was 168th on the waiting list!! So, instead decided to check out the audiobook. I still had to wait three months for it to come through but now I finally have it. I started listening to this one last night and am already half way through. It’s a very interesting read.

Birthrights by Carly Rheilan – I started this one yesterday afternoon for an upcoming blog tour with Blackthorn Tours. According to my Kindle I’m 5% in, which isn’t enough for me to form an opinion as yet, but keep an eye out for my full thoughts in August.

The Other Side of the Whale Road by K. A Hayton – I started reading this for another upcoming blog tour. I’m about 40 pages in as I haven’t picked it up as much as I had hoped to. But it’s quite a short book so shouldn’t take too long to finish.

Duma Key by Stephen King – I’m still working my way through Duma Key. I’m almost half way through. I have to be honest wasn’t too sure what to expect as I have a love hate relationship with some of Kings books but I’m really liking this one.

Middlegame by Seanan McGuire – This is my first book by Seanan McGuire and won’t be the last!! I started reading this book physically but swapped over to the audiobook as I had to return my copy back to the library, as someone had a hold on it.

The Familiars by Stacey Hall – This was a re-read for me!! I first read an eARC of this back in August 2019. I really enjoyed this the first time and my opinions on this one hasn’t changed much. You can read my original review here.

Songbirds by Christy Lefteri – I finished this one on Friday while at my hospital appointment. It started off a little slow, and wasn’t too sure about it at first, but turned out to be a great read!! I have my review scheduled for tomorrow so don’t forget to check it out!!

Next up is hopefully my eARC of The Couple at No.9 by Claire Douglas.

What’s  everyone currently reading, finished reading or planning to read next? Don’t forget to leave links to your WWW Wednesday

Happy Reading!!!

    • Agree the Kindle % is distracting, but I’ve tried to turn it off but then I keep turning it back on as I like to see how much progress I’ve made and how much I have left to the end of the book 😂. Oh can’t wait to get further in the book. Happy Reading to you too!! ♥️♥️
