Happy Wednesday Folks!!
Hope you’ve all had a great week since last week’s post.
Since last week’s post I’ve had a pretty good one.
My nephew (6 yrs old) went back to school on Monday. The house has been really quiet and have missed him lot’s.
BUT with him being back at school it means I’ve had lots more time to read!!
So, let’s get into this weeks reading update!!!
What is WWW Wednesday?
All you have to do is answer 3 simple questions:
What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you plan to read next?
The Lost Hours by Susan Lewis – I started my NetGalley eARC . I’ve not read very much at all so can’t really share any of my thoughts so far. But really hoping this will be a good one as I’ve had mixed experiences with this authors previous books.
Carolina Dalca, Dark Eyes by M.R. Noble – I picked this one up on Monday. I’m reading this one for a blog tour organised by Dave @The_WriteReads. I’m not very far into it at the moment, but really liking what I’ve read so far. It’s quite short so shouldn’t take me too long to finish once I get going. My stop is on 1st April so keep an eye out.
The Sun Down Motel by Simone St. James – My audiobook hold finally came through on Libby. I’ve been waiting just over 4 months for it. I’m just over halfway through. Really enjoying it so far.
The Doctor Will See You Now by Amir Khan – I ended up downloading the audiobook from BorrowBox while browsing the new titles section. Wasn’t sure what to expect as I’ve read a few books about GPs and the NHS in recent years but turned out to be an interesting listen. It was very honest and definitely thought provoking.
Trust Me by T.M. Logan – This was so good!! I’ve only read two previous books by this author but this is definitely my favourite so far. My review for this one will be coming tomorrow so keep your eyes peeled.
Thunderhead by Neal Shusterman – I enjoyed Scythe and wasn’t sure what to expect from this one. But I loved it even more!
The Queen’s Gambit by Walter Tevis – Loved the Netflix adaptation and couldn’t wait to read this one. I ended up listening to the audiobook and although there were a few things I didn’t like overall it was a great listen.
I didn’t manage to pick this one up so I’ve put it back onto my TBR for this week.
