Hi Folks!!!
It’s that time of year were I share with you my favourite reads from 2020. I have read some wonderful books this year, and with the amount of books I’ve managed to finish this year this post would be very very long, so instead I have narrowed down the list to the books that I gave a 5 star rating to.
So, without further ado lets get into the list of my favourite reads of 2020.

The Diary of A Young Girl by Anne Frank

Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck

Stranger Days on Peculiar Hill by Grimly Darkwood

With The Fire On High by Elizabeth Acevedo

The Pillar Of The Earth by Ken Follett

World Without End by Ken Follett

New Life Stories by David Attenborough

Amari And The Night Brothers by B. B. Alston (Review to come on 28th December 2020)

Wow sounds like you’ve had a great reading year! I read ‘Of Mice and Men’ for class ages ago and remember really loving it. I think I’d like to reread it soon! With the Fire on High is also really high on my TBR so I’m looking forward to that, glad you enjoyed it! Hope you have a lovely new year ✨

Looks like you’ve had some brilliant reads this year Mani! I’ve also read Of Mice and Men and Diary of a Young Girl – they’re both such powerful reads and they’d make my list too. Others are on my TBR like the Elizabeth Acevedo and Khaled Hosseini and now I’m even more excited about reading them! 📚❤️ X x x

Thanks Florence!! 2020 was definitely a good reading year even if the rest of the year has been rubbish.
Yes both Of Mice and Men and Diary of a Young Girl are powerful reads. They are 2 of the few books that I can reread and still find something new.
I hope you love the books when you get around to reading them, look forward to finding out you thoughts on them. Happy Reading!! ❤❤📚📚

Wow! Thank you so much, Mani, for including my novel ‘Stranger Days on Peculiar Hill’ in this list of your favourite books of 2020. I am bowled over, especially since it is amongst such extremely illustrious company. I notice you have also included another children’s middlegrade fantasy in the list, ‘Amari and the Night Brothers’. That is one I had already earmarked to read myself. It looks like I shall have to coax it to the top of the TBR pile.
I know that your posts are valued by writers and readers alike. Stay safe, and keep up the good work in 2021!
