My Thoughts & Review
I would like to start by thanking Kurt for taking a chance in me and asking me to read and review my very first noir romance.
Rainy Season is a very well written and starts with a beautiful description of Tokyo which makes me want to visit even more. The story revolves around four main characters RICH, Miko, Kaito and Takako, who I found to be very interesting. They were each struggling with their own demons which brings its own drama to the book.
I really enjoyed how the story progress really quickly, it definitely kept me intrigued and kept me turning those pages.
As many of you know I’m not a big romance reader and in fact have never read a noir romance until now, so I really wasn’t sure what to expect but I really enjoyed this one. I actually felt this book gave me a more of a mystery/thriller type of vibe rather than a romance type of book, which in my opinion was a big hit.
If you’re looking for a good fast pace atmospheric read then I would definitely recommend you give this one a go.
