Hope you’re all doing well and have had a good week since last weeks post!!!
I’ve had a pretty chilled out one. Not done much, I’ve been having a bit trouble with my leg pain again so just been trying to control the pain. It’s so tiring!! And I’ve also fallen a little behind on my reading, but hoping I can catch up real soon. Anyway enough about my week so lets get into this weeks reading update shall we!!!
What is WWW Wednesday?
All you have to do is answer 3 simple questions:
What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you plan to read next?
A Thousand Years by K.T Dady – This one was sent to me by the author, I loved her last book and was excited to try this one out. It is out of my comfort zone but so far it’s not too bad.
Forgive Me by Susan Lewis – Another NetGalley book I’ve been waiting to start. I’m only about 20% in, but so far it’s going good.
A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry – I had started reading this one physically last week but I was struggling with the tiny font in the copy I borrowed from my friends, so have switched over to the audiobook now and I’m really getting into to. I have had to slow the play back down to 1.80 from my normal 2.20 speed due to the heavy Indian accents, but I’m liking it so far. I can definitely see why my friends have loved it.
New Life Stories by David Attenborough – Another unplanned audiobook listen. Saw this was available on BorrowBox as an instant download. I couldn’t say no to an audiobook narrator by the legend David Attenborough!!! Really enjoyed learning about the wonderful creatures of the world.
The Stone Sky by N.K.Jemisin – Finally finished the series!!! This was a great read and a great way to end the series!!
The Chalet by Catherine Cooper – This was another great read, that I couldn’t put it down. I had a few theories as I was reading, some were spot on and some were on the right track but I got the wrong person. Full review coming soon!!!
Next up hopefully will be Firewall by Eugenia Lovett West and Animo by Lisa Ann Rowe
