3 Things About Myself

  1. I learning/teach myself new skills and always looking for new hobbies,
  2. I’m a night owl and usually stay up way too late!!!
  3. I have small feet and can get away with buying junior shoes

Questions from Danni

1. Who is your favourite artist? and what is your favourite piece of art?

I don’t really have a favourite artist. I’m the sort of person who either likes it or doesn’t.

2. If you could invite any 3 people (dead or alive, real or fictional) to a dinner party, who would you choose? and why?

First person on this list would be my grandad (my dad’s, dad) I never got to meet him. He passed away a few days after I was born. The second and third would be both my grandparents (mums parents) they were the best grandparents ever, every time we got together they would spoil both me and my brother and they were super cool as they both loved watching wrestling with us on the weekend when they visited. For the fourth I can’t choose just one person as it would be my family & friend as I could never have a dinner party without them

3. If you could only read one author for the rest of your life, who would it be? and why?

Oh, this is such a hard one to answer. If you had asked me before I started blogging I would have said Stephen King every time but I’ve discovered so many new authors that I really can’t choose just one.

4. Are there any books/series which you think are overrated?

Oh yes there are a few here are just a few of them:

The Wychs Elm by Tana French

The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins

Into the Water by Paula Hawkins

The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee

Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo

5. Which books would you love to see a TV or movie adaptation for?

Again, there are a few but here are just a few from the top of my head.

The Fifth Season by N.K. Jemisin

Burn by Patrick Ness

Knightmare Arcanist by Shami Stovall

George the Orphan Crew and the Creatures of Blossom Valley by Helen Fox

Questions from Emer

1. If you could meet any author living or dead, who would it be?

Oh my I how could I possibly choose!!! There are quite a few authors, but would be happy to meet any of my favourites. Here are just a few that come to mind in no particular order.

Cara Hunter

C.J. Tudor

Angie Thomas

Stephen King

2. What is your favourite book cover ever?

Again there are a few but I do love my Penguin Clothbound editions they have there own dedicated shelf and they look so pretty altogether. I currently own 10!!!

3. What is your favourite paranormal/mythical creature to read about?

Dragons!!!! Absolutely love them!!!!

4. What would your perfect day consist of you doing?

Being pain free, catching up with family and friends over a nice meal or coffee. Spending a fun day time with my gorgeous nephews and then finish relaxing reading with my favourite blanket and hot/cold drink depending on the weather

5. Team Dogs or Team Cats?

Team dog all the way!!!! Sorry cat lovers

My Questions

Ok, so I’m going to cheat and use a mixture of Danni’s and Emer’s questions. Hope you both don’t mind!!!

1. What would your perfect day consist of you doing?

2. If you could invite any 3 people (dead or alive, real or fictional) to a dinner party, who would you choose? and why?

3. What is your favourite paranormal/mythical creature to read about?

4. Are there any books/series which you think are overrated?

5. How many bookS do you currently have on your  TBR?

  1. Great answers! I felt The Girl on the Train was overrated as well, and haven’t even bothered with other books by this author.. good thing I didn’t it seems. I just had to check who this blogger who shares my name is but I’m Inge and she’s Inga haha :-). Still very interesting to discover a new blogger, we’re both international bloggers and we both have cats (well I have one and she has two real beauties!).

    • Thank Inge!! I tried another book by the author but didn’t get on with that one either so definitely won’t be reading anymore. 😱 so sorry about the name mix up thanks for pointing out the mistake in names 🤦🏽‍♀️. I have fixed it now 😉.

      • Hihi it’s not that big of a deal.. I’m just a great sleuth :-). I’d add E.L. James on that list too btw for me, I won’t be reading any other books (I only read the first but despite the hype back then it wasn’t my cup of tea, not enough ‘story’ for me :-))

      • Oh I forgot about E.L. James. I’ve only read Fifty Shades which my cousin persuaded me to buddy read with her and never read anything else by the author since 😅
