My Thoughts & Review

I love watching Sue Perkins on TV, so when I saw this book at the charity shop I knew I had to get it.

You can definitely tell Spectacles has been written by Sue, it was a witty and funny read. I really enjoyed learning more about Sue and her family life. While reading I could really picture Sue telling these stories in person. In fact, after I finished reading the book physically I listened to the audiobook and it was just good, especially as it was narrated by Sue Perkins herself.

This is another review where I can’t say too much as it would lead to spoilers, but it’s definitely a book that is worth reading, it will have you chuckling along.
