My Thoughts & Review
So, read One of Us is Lying in April I decided to go ahead and listen to One Of Us Is Next on audiobook.
I struggled with this one. I like my thrillers to be fast paced and gripping but this one well, let’s just say I ended up speeding up the audiobook. The pacing was slow and nothing interesting really happened. And the ending well that was just too unrealistic and rather quite rubbish.
Now the characters were likeable, but I wasn’t really interested in most of them. I say most of them as I really liked Maeve. I found reading about her Leukaemia and how she and her family detail with it much more interesting, and this part of the book was really well done.
All in all, an ok-ish read for me. Please don’t just go by my review if you have this book on your TBR as I think once again I’m in the minority of readers who didn’t love this book.
