With lockdown easing I thought I better push this tag to the top of the list.
I was tagged by the wonderful Mina at Stacked Reviews for this tag. With lockdown easing I thought I better push this tag to the top of the list.
You can read Mina’s answers here, and don’t forget to follow Mina’s wonderful blog for some great bookish content if you don’t already.
So, let get into the tag.
1. Laying in bed — a book you read in one day
I’ve read a couple of books in one day but the most recent is No One Is Too Small To Make A Difference by Greta Thunberg.
2. Snacking – a book that is a ‘guilty pleasure’ read
This is a hard one. I think I’m going to have to say any of the books from the Hannibal series.
3. Netflix — a series that you want to start
I’ve been meaning to start the The Poppy War series but I just haven’t managed to pick the series yet. But I’m hoping this year I will at least be able to read The Poppy War.
4. Deep clean — a book that has been on your TBR for ages
Oh, I knew I should have done this tag sooner, as during lockdown I actually got around to reading some of the books that have been on my TBR the longest. This was World Without End by Ken Follett, which I finished this month. So, I’m going to go with the next book that I think has been on my shelves the longest and that is The Universe Versus Alex Woods Gavin Extence
5. Animal Crossing — a book you recently bought because of the hype
6. Productivity — a book you learned from or had an impact on you
There a quite a few books I could list here but I’m going to go with Silent Heroes: When Love and Values Are Worth Fighting For by Patricia Furstenberg, as I learnt so much about service dogs and how important they really are. You can find out more about the book and read my review here.
7. Facetime — a book you were gifted
Well!!! It was my birthday this month and I was gifted some wonderful books. If you follow me on Instagram you may have already seen all the beautiful books I received and if you don’t you’ll have to wait for my book haul post that will be going up soon. But to answer this question I going to name just one and that’s The Hunger Games series.
8. Self-care — what is one thing you have done recently to look after yourself
Umm not much lol!!! I’ve continued to with my routines except for the going out, but have spent much more time in our garden topping up the Vitamin D.
BONUS — An upcoming release you are looking forward to
I’m really looking forward to the next books from both C.J. Tudor and Cara Hunter.
I won’t be tagging anyone specific but feel free to do this tag and don’t forget to link back so I can read your answers.
