Happy Saturday everyone!!
Today, I’m back with another tag. Today’s tag is the Anonymous Bookaholic Tag, which I was tagged back in February by the wonderful Danni.
As you all know I’m playing catch up with my tags. Anyway, let’s get into this tag.
1 – What do you like about buying new books?
The excitement of looking through all the books I want and then choosing the one I really want to add to my shelves, as well as the excitement of bringing a new book home/ or waiting for it to be delivered and then adding it to my bookshelves.
2 – How often do you buy new books?
In all honesty it depends on how much is left of my budget. Sometime I save the money so I can buy multiple books at the same time.
3 – Bookstore or online book shopping: which do you prefer?
I love bookstores and would love to buy all my books from bookstores but sometimes it’s just much cheaper to buy them online.
4 – Do you have a favourite bookshop?
I love visiting the bookstores near to me, which include Waterstones, Foyles, The Works, and W H Smiths. Although I mainly buy my books from Waterstones and Foyles. I also love visiting my local charity shop where I’ve found some great books and all in nearly perfect condition.
Can’t wait for the day when I can go back to my favourite bookshops.
5 – Do you pre-order books?
No, I’ve never pre-ordered books. Most pre-ordered books are hardbacks and although I love hardback I really prefer to paperbacks because I find them lighter and easier to hold.
6 – Do you have a monthly buying limit?
Not really, all depends on how much money I have left at the end of the month.
7 – How big is your wish list?
It’s not crazy big but still has more than 30 books on it as well as lots of bookmarks and crochet kits.
8 – Which three books from your wish list do you wish to own right now?
The Stand by Stephen King
The City of Brass by S. A. Chakraborty
The Kingdom of Copper S. A. Chakraborty
