WWW Wednesday – 29th April 2020

Happy Wednesday Everyone!!!

Hope you’ve all been doing well and keeping safe!!!

Since last weeks post, I’ve had a good week. I spent most of the week reading in the garden. We’ve had some beautiful weather here in the UK which has been so nice!!

As for my ribs they seem to have healed, don’t have any pain which is a great!!

Anyway lets get into this weeks WWW Wednesday!!!

What is WWW Wednesday?

It’s a weekly meme that I first discovered on Roachies Reviews blog, and that is originally hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

All you have to do is answer 3 simple questions:

What are you currently reading?

What have you recently finished reading?

What do you plan to read next?

So, without further ado here’s my WWW Wednesday for this week.

Currently Reading

The Eyes of Darkness by Dean Koontz – My very first Dean Koontz book. So many people have been recommending this author to me over the years. I finally downloaded an audiobook from Scribd. I have about an hour left.

My Lies, Your Lies by Susan Lewis – I started this NetGalley eARC one on Saturday. was a slow start but really getting into it now. I’ve read roughly 70% so hopefully I can squeeze it in and finish it before the month is out.

Q by Christina Dalcher – Another NetGalley eARC that I started over the weekend. I’m loving this one too. I should have this one finished by this evening.

Les Misérables by Victor Hugo – I didn’t manage to pick this one up over the weekend, As I got distracted by the other books I started so I’ve made no progress and am still at page 391/1232.

Recently Finished

Caraval by Stephanie Garber – Finally finished it after a week of reading. I really don’t know how I feel about this 1st book, I liked it but at the same time struggled with it. I will be reading the next book but just not straight away.

The Way Home by Julian Barr – This book is based on Greek Mythology. This topic is a hit or miss for my. But, this one was definitely a hit. A very enjoyable read.

Black Beauty by Anna Sewell – It has been so long since I first read this book. This was such a beautiful read, made such a great change.

Unnatural Exposure by Patricia Cornwell – I really like the Scarpetta series. I started the series a while a go, but never got around to finishing it. I recently discovered the audiobooks are available on both Scribd and Libby so I’m hoping to catch up to the more recent book. This was actually my least favourite out of the 7 previous books, which was a little disappointing.

Reading Next

I’m hoping to pick up Dear Martin by Nic Stone and One Year Later by Sanjida Kay

    • Thanks!! Dear Martin has been on my TBR for way too long but nothing new there when it comes to TBR’s 😉. I know what a difference in weather, but that’s British weather for you 😂

    • I will be reading Legendary this year so hopefully it will change my mind 😉.
