Happy Wednesday Everyone!!!
Hope you all doing well and keeping safe in the current situation. Once again I’m here for anyone that needs a chat just message me.
So, since last week like many I’ve been practicing social distancing and staying home, and to keep myself busy I’ve managed to fit in lots of reading. I may still have 91 physical books on my TBR shelves and 13 eARCS on my Kindle but if I carry on reading at the rate I’m currently going I should be up to make a dent in my TBR. The thought of this makes me so excited!!!
Anyway without further ado lets get into this weeks WWW Wednesday!!!
What is WWW Wednesday?
It’s a weekly meme that I first discovered on Roachies Reviews blog, and that is originally hosted by Taking on a World of Words.
All you have to do is answer 3 simple questions:
What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you plan to read next?
So, without further ado here’s my WWW Wednesday for this week.
In the past week I have picked up the following books.
Blue Dog by Louis de Bernières – I’m reading this one with my dear friend Georgina as part of our monthly buddy read. It’s a very short book, and could easily read it in one sitting but I’m reading a chapter a day so that we can finish the book together.
Les Misérables by Victor Hugo – I picked this one up last night. I was gifted this one for my birthday last year and I thought with all that’s going on this would be the perfect time to start a nice chunky book.
The Furies by Katie Lowe – I really got into this book, and couldn’t believe how fast I finished it.
The Shape of Water by Andrea Camilleri – This was our book club read for this month. Wasn’t sure about it at the start but by the end I ended up liking it.
Artemis by Andy Weir – This started off so good. Now, I’ve finished I have such mixed feelings about it. It took me so long to finish even though it was one of the shorter books I had picked up.
You Are Not Alone by Greer Hendricks & Sarah Pekkanen – This is the 2nd book I’ve read by these two. It was good but I think personally I enjoyed An Anonymous Girl slightly more.
(Reviews for all my read books will be coming soon)
I actually have no idea what to pick up next. There are so many books I want to read but just can’t decide, so I’ll just go with the flow.
What’s everyone currently reading, finished reading or planning to read this week? Feel free to leave your WWW Wednesday links or just leave a comment down below.
Happy Reading!!!
