WWW Wednesday – 18th March 2020

Happy Wednesday Everyone!!!

In spite of the nightmare situation we’re all at the moment I hope you’re all keep safe and well as much as possible. If anyone needs a chat please feel free to get in touch!!

I’ve had a very eventful week as you may have seen through my posts, but I’ve managed to remain positive as much as possible. I’ve kept myself busy by catching up with friends & family over the phone and through video calls. I’ve also got right back into reading and  I managed to read a good amount, in such a short amount of days which feels great.

What is WWW Wednesday?

It’s a weekly meme that I first discovered on Roachies Reviews blog, and that is originally hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

All you have to do is answer 3 simple questions:

What are you currently reading?

What have you recently finished reading?

What do you plan to read next?

So, without further ado here’s my WWW Wednesday for this week.

Currently Reading

The Shape of Water by Andrea Camilleri – This is our March book club read. I haven’t read much as I’m reading it off my tablet, and I can’t read on the tablet for long as it gives me eye strain. I wasn’t able to attend the last meeting so wasn’t able to pick a physical copy.

Artemis by Andy Weir – I started this one yesterday afternoon. Liking it so far, but got the feeling that I will be a little like The Martian.

The Furies by Katie Lowe – Finally managed to get around to this book. I had it on hold at the library but couldn’t pick it up but a friend kindly went and picked it up for me so that I wouldn’t have to leave the house. I also found the audiobook on Scribd so I’ll be listening to it as well as reading it physically. I’m not very far into it but it’s looking like a promising read.

Recently Finished

Things in Jars by Jess Kidd – Not quite sure what about this book. Have very mixed feelings about it. I liked it but at the same time I didn’t. I just don’t know

Dear Edward by Ann Napolitano – I finally managed to finish my eARC from NetGalley. This was an interesting read and have to say it was pretty good considering what it was about.

The Fallout by Rebecca Thornton – This was another eARC that I did’t manage to read before it came out.

The Wolf and the Watchman

The Wolf and the Watchman by Niklas Natt Och Dag – I actually picked this one up from the charity shop. I had no idea what it was about when I picked it up. It started off really interesting but I really struggled to get pas a 100 pages so I’ve decided to DNF it.

Reading Next

I’m hoping to pick up my eARC of The Guest List by Lucy Foley.
