Happy Wednesday Everyone!!!
Welcome to the first WWW Wednesday of February. Hope you’ve had a good reading week since last weeks post.
I’ve had a good reading week and have managed to finish a few more books which is always a good thing.
What is WWW Wednesday?
All you have to do is answer 3 simple questions:
What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you plan to read next?
So, without further ado here’s my WWW Wednesday for this week.
The Sound of Things Falling by Juan Gabriel Vásquez – This was our January book club read. Our next meeting is on the 11th of February so I thought I better pick it up. I’ve not read very much, but the book does sound quite interesting. Fingers crossed it will turn out to be a good read.
Hunting Evil by Chris Carter – I received a review copy from LoveReading UK. I’m loving it so far, and am half way.
I also managed to start The Road by Cormac McCarthy yesterday.
The Librarian of Auschwitz by Antonio Iturbe – Another sad but great read.
A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens – This one was a little hard to get into but ended up enjoying it.
The Cabin by Natasha Preston – I listened to this one on Scribd. It wasn’t planned but the front cover and title attracted me to the book. I knew nothing about it.
The Boy Who Steals Houses by C.G.Drews – Another book that I had to wait a very long time for from my library.
Stranger Days on Peculiar Hill by Grimly Darkwood – This is the second book in the series. I really enjoyed the first one, and this one was just as good.
Next I will be picking up The Road by Cormac McCarthy, which I will be buddy reading with my friend and I’m also hoping to pick up A Touch of Death by Rebecca Crunden. But this may change as I have a few library books due back very soon.
