Happy Wednesday Everyone!!!
I can’t believe we’re already halfway through January!!!!
Hope you’re reading week is going good and hope you’ve all managed to start or finish some great reads since last week.
Since Last weeks post my reading has been a little up and down. I haven’t managed to get much reading done as planned. But, hoping I will make it up by the weekend. Anyway let’s get into what I’ve been reading.
What is WWW Wednesday?
All you have to do is answer 3 simple questions:
What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you plan to read next?
So, without further ado here’s my WWW Wednesday for this week.
Imaginary Friend by Stephen Chbosky – I’m still working my way through this chunky book. Due to it being a hardback copy I’m struggling to hold it while reading so I’m having to read in it small chunks which is annoying, and slowing me down. But, I am really enjoying it so far, so worth the slow progress I’m making.
An Anonymous Girl by Greer Hendricks & Sarah Pekkanen – I’m reading this one as part of the January TBR twin on Goodreads. This is another book that I’m finding a little weird but at the same time I don’t want to put it down. So, far another book I’m liking.
I also started reading One day by David Nicholls on my Kindle. I haven’t read much so haven’t formed an opinion as yet.
The Songs of Achilles by Madeline Miller – I actually managed to finish this in time for our Book Club meeting. Unfortunately I couldn’t make the book club last night. But, I thought this was really good. But I think Circe is still my favourite out of the two books.
Here are the books I’ve managed to finish for the 2020 TBR READING CHALLENGE since last weeks post.
This weeks not been the best week in terms of this challenge I’ve only managed to finish 1 book.
Coraline by Neil Gaiman – This was a bit of a strange read for me. It’s left me with some mixed feelings. (Prompt Fantasy book)
As it hasn’t been the best week for finishing books for the 2020 TBR Reading Challenge I will hopefully be getting through at least a few more books from the list below.
- Pet Sematary by Stephen King
- My Sh*t Therapist & other mental health stories by Michelle Thomas
- Because of you by Eve Ainsworth
- Lord of the Flies by William Golding
- On The Come Up by Angie Thomas
- Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck
- ALL THE BRIGHT PLACES by Jennifer Niven
- Caraval by Stephanie Garber
- The Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo
- The Librarian of Auschwitz by Antonio Iturbe
- A Tale of Two Cities Charles Dickens
