Happy Wednesday Everyone!!!
Welcome to another round of WWW Wednesday.
Hope you’ve all had a wonderful reading week since last week.
What is WWW Wednesday?
All you have to do is answer 3 simple questions:
What are you currently reading?
What have you recently finished reading?
What do you plan to read next?
So, without further ado here’s my WWW Wednesday for this week.
Sunday evening I picked up Hour of The Wolf by Håkan Nesser. I haven’t got very far into it, in fact I’ve only managed to read 1 chapter as I fell asleep while reading it and haven’t really had a chance to pick it up since.
On Monday I started The Astonishing Colour of After by Emily X.R. Pan. I’ve managed to read 12 chapters so far. i’m really getting into this one which I’m a little surprised as I thought I wouldn’t enjoy it. Hopefully I’ll like it to the end.
Since last week I managed to finish 6 books, which includes 2 children’s books.
The Moon Show by Carmen Gloria – I received this one from LoveReading UK. It’s the 3rd book in the Kids Astronomy series, and it was so good. It maybe be aimed for the very young readers but I definitely learnt some interesting things.
The Lost Ones by Anita Frank – This was an audiobook I downloaded from BorrowBox. I have very mixed thoughts on this one. There were some really good bits and then there were not such good bits and this is were I struggled with the book.
The Holiday by T.M. Logan – I loved reading this book. It had so many twists that I wasn’t expecting. The long wait for my library copy to arrive definitely worth it.
Wonder by R.J. Palacio – This was another great book I finished. I’ve wanted to read this book forever. I’d actually watched the movie first on Netflix but just never got around to reading the book. I was even more determined to read it after I managed to pick up a hardback copy from a local charity shop.
Orrcry by Annie Tucker – This was another children’s book that I received from LoveReading UK in support of Indie Authors. I didn’t really know what to expect from this book at the start but I ended up loving it.
The Chain by Adrian McKinley – This was an intense read, but I loved it. I struggled to put it down. I stayed up quite late Monday night just to finish it, even though I knew I could finish it on Tuesday.
I’m hoping to make a start on my December TBR, but I have a few library books that need reading too. So, we shall see.
