My Thoughts & Review

Waves Break  (On unknown Shores) was my first book by Barry Litherland, but will definitely not be the last.

The book is really well written. The writing style felt very simple and  uncomplicated, which I thought was spot on for the plot. The plot it self was fast paced, and it had me gripped from start to finish. As the plot progresses a few surprise twists happen, which I really wasn’t expecting.

The author has done a brilliant job in creating such realistic and interesting characters. I really enjoyed learning about them through their backstories and seeing how their past childhood has impacted on their adult lives in the present.

Overall, a great read. Can’t wait to read the sequel that’s coming soon. If you’re a fan crime, mystery, thrillers or just looking for a tense, character driven read this is definitely a book I recommend.

A big thank you to Barry Litherland for getting in touch and sending me a copy of this book in return for an honest and unbiased review.

  1. Hi Mani, Thank you for your review of Waves Break. To say I’m thrilled by it would be an understatement. Promoting a self-published book can be a soul destroying business so an honest and independent review like this is a real boost. I will certainly contact you when I publish Shifting Sands (the sequel). I’m just waiting to see if WB gets enough traction before I release it. Once again, thank you. I will continue to follow your Blog with great interest. Regards Barry
