Book Quotes:

Sunday 6th October 2019

This weeks quotes come from the book Postmortem by Patricia Cornwell  and my favourite quote was:

“People often say they don’t dream, when it’s more accurate to say that they don’t remember their dreams. It gets under our skin, Kay. All of it does. We just manage to cage in most of the emotions so they don’t devour us.”

Sunday 13th October 2019

My favourite quote from The Last Precinct by Patricia Cornwell was:

“To hate another person is wrong. It is never right. Hate is a crime of the spirit that leads to crimes of the flesh.”

Sunday 20th October 2019

This weeks favourite quote from the book Body of Evidence by Patricia Cornwell was:

“A significant portion of the human race has no idea what it is like to be attached to short legs, and I am forever finding myself indignantly pumping along like a handcar in a world of express trains.”

Sunday 27th October 2019

My favourite quote from Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella was:

“We all fail to appreciate each day just how much we already possess. Light, air, freedom, the companionship of friends.”
