WWW WEDNESDAY

Happy Wednesday Everyone!!!

Welcome to another round of WWW Wednesday.

Since last week’s post I’ve had a great reading week. I managed to start some great books and finish some that weren’t so great and have been reading for the last 2 weeks.

Hope you’ve all had a wonderful reading week since last week.

What is WWW Wednesday?

It’s a weekly meme that I first discovered on Roachies Reviews blog, and that is originally hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

All you have to do is answer 3 simple questions:

What are you currently reading?

What have you recently finished reading?

What do you plan to read next?

So, without further ado here’s my WWW Wednesday for this week.

Blood in the Dust by Bill Swiggs – I received this book from Readers First a few weeks ago, but just didn’t get a chance to pick it up until the end of last week. It’s such a interesting read. I’m just over half way.

Silent Heroes

Silent Heroes: When Love and Values Are Worth Fighting For by Patricia Furstenberg – This was sent to me by the author. I picked it up Sunday night and thought I would read a few pages before going to sleep but instead I ended up reading for a couple hours. I can tell this is going to be a quick read and good read.

The Return of the King

The Return of the King by J.R.R Tolkien – The series has been waiting on my TBR shelves for years but I’ve finally managed to work my way through them this year, and I’m finally on the last book. I am reading this both physically and listening to it on audiobook. I’m up to chapter 3.

Recently Finished?

SLASH

SLASH by Hunter Shea – This was a good read, a bit slow to start and not very scary considering it’s supposed to be a horror book. I did however, love the blood and gore parts of the book.

The Testaments

The Testaments by Margaret Atwood – Oh my, this book took me forever to get through. It started of really interesting but sadly by the time I got to the end I lost the will to read it. I struggled to pick it up every time I put it down. I should have DNF-ed it but wanted to see if it answered any of the questions I was left with after reading the Handmaids Tale. This was a very disappointing read for me.

Perfect Crime

Perfect Crime by Helen Field – I finished listening to the audiobook. I really liked this one. I know this is the 5th book in the series but it didn’t matter. This was such a great read.

Battle of the Bannockburn

Chains of the Bannockburn (Book 3) by Karen Gray – This one carried on from where book 2 left off, and there are more new characters and more world building. Loving the series.

Milk and Honey by Rupi Kaur – I managed to squeeze this read in yesterday. I was going through my Kindle and it was there so decided to give it a read. It’s not what I was expecting. I read half of it on Kindle and listened to the other half on audiobook while I was in the car.

Reading Next:

I’m hoping to pick up Hands Up by Stephen Clark. I’m also hoping that I can pick up one of my library books as they are due back in 2 weeks.

What’s everyone currently reading, finished reading or planning to read this week? Feel free to leave your WWW Wednesday links or just leave a comment down below.
