Tilley Tumble: Tumble Tails: The Tumbling Bunny by Beth Thompson

The Tumbling Bunny

This is such a cute short story for little ones. It is about a little bunny called Tilley, who dreams of becoming a famous gymnast one day. It subtly teaches children that it is not impossible to do something.

The illustrations in this book are just so adorable, what I would do to be able to draw like this.

Although, I would say this book is suitable for both girls and boys of preschool age and up, my 5 year old nephew had other thoughts. I read the book to him and although he liked the story he did say this book is for girls as the illustrations have a lot of pink in them.

I will definitely be recommending this book to family and friends who have young children.

Taba Tiger and Her Friends by Amal Issa Al-Aride

Taba Tiger and Her Friends

This is a great little book that talks about and teaches young children briefly about tigers being endangered and introduces children about different faiths. It also teaches that even though everyone has different faiths everyone can still be friends and that everyone is equal no matter what.

I really liked the little quotes that have been taken from different faith books and have been shared at the end of the book.

This book would be a great book to have in an education setting. I will be definitely recommending this one to some of my friends who work in nurseries and preschools.

Oh, and the illustrations of the baby animals in this book are really cute, I love how each of them represents a different religion. Another great book for little ones.
