My Thoughts & Review
So, this was our June book club read. The best part of this book was that it was nice and short. And that is all the positives I can come up with.
When the books were handed out it sounded intriguing and thought it would be an interesting read. But sadly, it didn’t deliver. I tried so hard to like this book but I just couldn’t. I found it to be very boring and while reading it I couldn’t actually work out what was happening. There wasn’t really much of a plot, in fact I would go as far as saying there was no plot at all.
I didn’t like any of the character’s either. I thought they were very rude and stuck up. They had no respect to family. In fact, if I had family like the ones in this book I would dis-own them and would nothing to do with them.
The only reason I didn’t DNF this book was because I was so hoping that it would be get better and also because it was so short.
I really hoping our July read will be good as the last 3 reads have been so disappointing.
Some thoughts from other book club members:
