This week I’m sharing some quotes from the book Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I wasn’t a big fan of this book but I found a selection of my favourite quotes from the book.

“I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of any thing than of a book! — When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.”

“Angry people are not always wise.”

“I must learn to be content with being happier than I deserve.”

“Laugh as much as you choose, but you will not laugh me out of my opinion.”

“I have not the pleasure of understanding you”

“We are all fools in love”

“He is a gentleman, and I am a gentleman’s daughter. So far we are equal.”

“Till this moment I never knew myself.”

Have you read this book? Do you have any favourite quotes from it? Would love to read them. Feel free to share them in the comments below.
