Hi fellow Bibliophiles,
I had a great month of reading so I thought I would treat myself to some new books to add to my already toppling TBR pile.
In April I added 6 new books to my TBR pile.
The first set of books I added were brought from my local Cancer Research Shop. They were only 50p each and in nearly perfect but not quite perfect condition. So, the two books I brought were White Teeth by Zadie Smith and Educated by Tara Westover. I’ve heard mixed things about both books, so we shall see whether I end up liking them or not.
The next 2 books I brought were Good Samaritans by Will Carver and The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. I’ve heard great things about Good Samaritans so looking forward to reading it. I’ve already read The Book Thief before, in fact I read it about a year after it came out but it was a copy that my cousin had lent me, and I wanted my very own copy. So this will be a re-read for me.
The next books I hauled were VOX by Christina Dalcher and The Tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris. I own an eARC of VOX but wanted to physical copy as I loved the eARC so much. I’ve had my eye on The Tattooist of Auschwitz for awhile and can’t wait to get started on it.
The final book in my haul for April was Nocturna by Maya Motayne. I got this in my very first book subscription box. (I won’t say which one, as I don’t want to spoil it for you guys that may have not received your boxes yet) This is another book that both looks and sounds fab.
Do you have any of these waiting on your TBR or have already read them? Let me know your thoughts, and don’t forget to let me know which books you’ve recently added to your TBR Pile as I love discovering new reads.
