WWW Wednesday – 10th April 2019

Happy Wednesday Everyone!!!

Welcome to another round of WWW Wednesday.

I hope you’ve all had a wonderful reading week. I’ve had another hectic week, which has resulted in not being able to read as much as I had planned too, but hey something had to give.

What is WWW Wednesday?

For those of you who are new to WWW Wednesday and wondering what it is, it’s  a weekly meme that I first discovered on Roachies Reviews blog, and that is originally hosted by Taking on a World of Words.

All you have to do is answer the 3 simple questions below.

What are you currently reading?

What have you recently finished reading?

What do you plan to read next?

and that’s it. It’s really simple.

So, here’s my WWW Wednesday for this week.

What are you currently reading?

This week I started reading several books.

The first one I started is KA.E.RO.U Time to Go Home by B. Jeanne Shibahara. This was sent to me by the author. I’m 27% in and I’m liking it so far. It’s such a easy read. just wish I had more time to sit down and read it as I think I could easily finish this in a couple of sittings.

The Second book I started was Paris Echo by Sebastian Faulks. This is a book that I got from Netgalley, and hadn’t got around to it until now. Again I haven’t got very far with this one I’m only on page 85. So Far I’m not sure of this book, it’s a bit up and down at them.cover144112-medium

The third book I’ve started is Catch 22 by Joseph Heller.  I’m reading this as part of an buddy/April TBR TWIN read on Goodreads. So far I am on Chapter 6 and it’s another book I’m not a 100% sure about but hopefully it’ll grow on me like some of my reads in March.

I also started re-reading the A Storm of Swords 1: Steel and Snow by George R.R. Martin. I started this one last year but put it down and then forgot about it. I thought I would pick it up again as I want to try and finish reading all the books this year.

What have you recently finished reading?

I managed to finish A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman. It was very close I nearly didn’t finish it in time for our book club meeting that took place last night. I found this book hard to read at the beginning but then I started really getting into it and I flew through it. I will be posting a review over the weekend hopefully so keep and eye out.

The second book I finished was The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid. This was an enjoyable read but was a little disappointed after all the hype around it. I’ve written all my thoughts down but need to format it into my post, so hopefully I’ll have that done over the weekend. 32620332

What do you think you’ll read next?

This week I’m not going to put what I plan to read next as I haven’t been able to pick up the books I said I would for the last two weeks.

Also this week is the start of the Easter Break so schools out and my nephew is home for 2 weeks, and will be entertaining him through out the day until his mum and dad are back from work in the evening. And therefore just plan to go with the flow and see what I can read TBR basket that sits on my bedside table.

Anyway that’s all for this week, and I’ll catch up with you next week.

Happy reading!!!

    • It was a little hard to get into at first but enjoyed it by the end. I’m finishing off my review today so should be coming up by the weekend hopefully.

I didn’t know there was a movie to this book. Will have to check it out.
