WWW WEDNESDAY

Happy Wednesday Everyone!!!

(I First saw this on Roachies Reviews blog, originally hosted by Taking on a World of Words)

Since my last WWW Wednesday I was put on bed rest for 3 days by my consultant after some treatment to my hip. I’m not one to just sit and not do anything so struggled with bed rest part. However, the positive thing out of this was that I managed to get a good amount of reading done.

That’s enough about my bed rest and let get to my WWW Wednesday for this week.

What are you currently reading?

The first book I started this week is Into the Water by Paula Hawkins, I’ve already attempted to read this book twice and couldn’t get into it so this time I’m giving it ago on audiobook. I’ve managed to get past the first 30 minutes which means I will probably finish it this time, but we will see.

The second book I started was The Secret Runners of New York by Matthew Reilly. I’m only 28 pages into it, yet  I’ve already read something that I didn’t like the description of so not sure what the rest of the book will bring.

The third book I started is a book called What’s  Left Unsaid by Deborah Stone. This is a review copy sent to me by Lovereading UK. According to my Kindle I’m about 15% in so far.

I’m also still working my way through the  The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha.

What have you recently finished reading?

The first book I finished was The Silver Road by Stina Jackson. This was a such a good read. I finished it in two sittings. It’s set in a remote part of Northern Sweden. It’s story about a girl that goes missing while waiting for a bus to school. I received this book from Readers first to review.

The second book I finished was Turtles All The Way Down by John Green. I listened to this one on audiobook andI literally finished it last night. I haven’t quite collected all my thoughts on this one as yet.

The third book I finished was A Very Large Expanse of Sea by There Mafi. I read this as a buddy read/March TBR Twin from Goodreads. I really liked this book, I wasn’t too sure of it at first, but I finished it and actually really enjoyed it.

The fourth book I finished was No Way Out By Cara Hunter. This is the third book in the DI Fawley series, and I’m absolutely loving this series, I just can’t get enough of the books. I managed to get a copy of this from NetGalley.

Reviews for all the books to come very soon.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I have a few eARCs waiting to be read as well as some books that I received in the post so will be picking a couple of those I think.

    • I have quite a lot waiting to be read on my Kindle, but can’t wait to start The Williow Woman by Laurence Westwood and The Confessions of Frannie Langton which I have physical copies of.
