Happy Wednesday Everyone!!!
(I First saw this on Roachies Reviews blog, originally hosted by Taking on a World of Words)
Since my WWW Wednesday last week I’ve had another good week of reading. I managed to get lots of it done over the weekend, this was probably mainly because I don’t have my car at the moment, and because it was so windy that I stayed indoors wrapped up under my favourite fluffy blanket with my books. So, overall a perfect weekend for me.
So, here’s my WWW Wednesday.
What are you currently reading?
This week I started reading The Silver Road by Stina Jackson. I received this from Readers First. I am about a 125 pages in and it’s really good so far.
The second book I started was No Way Out By Cara Hunter. This is an eARC that I was approved for by NetGalley. I’m absolutely loving the DI Fawley series. I read the first 2 books and they were great reads. According to my Kindle I’m 20% in and so far I’m enjoying it. I hope this one lives up to my expectations.
I’m still working my way through the monster of a book The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon. I’m really enjoying this one, but my poor arms/wrists are protesting whenever I try to read it for long periods of time, so making very slow progress with it.
I’m also still reading A Very Large Expanse of Sea by There Mafi. I’m reading this as of a buddy/March TBR Twin from Goodreads. We decided that we would read a 100 pages a week, but I’m struggling to keep to this target as every time I pick up my Kindle I don’t want to put it down. I’m halfway through it already 🙈
What have you recently finished reading?
This week I have finished listening to A Stranger In The House by Shari Lapena on audiobook. I was disappointed with this one, especially after enjoying her book The Couple Nextdoor. I will be posting my review tomorrow so you can read more about why I didn’t enjoy this one.
The second book I finished was In The Dark by Cara Hunter. This is the second book in the DI Fawley series and I really enjoyed this one. It had a great plot and great characters. Review coming soon.
The third book I finished was Melmoth by Sarah Perry. I was really looking forward to reading this book and even had it on my wish list but after reading it I’m actually very disappointed with this read. I’ve even removed it from my wish list. I am in the process of trying to write a review for this one but I can’t seem to be struggling. 😔
The final book I managed to finish was Strange Secret’s by Mike Russell. I was sent an ebook review copy by the publisher. This was a very strange read but I really enjoyed.
What do you think you’ll read next?
I’m hoping to start Turtles All The Way Down by John Green.

The Saxon Wolves sounds like an interesting title will take a look and add it to my TBR List. Thanks for recommending!!
