WWW Wednesday – 6th February 2019

Happy Wednesday Everyone!!!

Hope you’ve had a good reading week.

I’m slowly getting back routine and trying to get back into the flow of things. But the cold weather isn’t helping. This week I haven’t managed to read as much as I would have liked but I still managed to finish a couple of books.

(First seen on Roachies Reviews blog and originally hosted on Taking on a World of Words)

What are you currently reading?

This week I started The Secrets You Hide by Kate Helm. I received this as an eARC from First Reads. According to my Kindle I am  25% into it. I’m enjoying it so far, and hope it stays like that till the end.

Over the weekend I also started reading Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman. This was our January book club read, but as I was away I only just managed to start it. Wasn’t sure about this book at the beginning but I’m warming up to it and starting to enjoy it now. I’m half way through. I’m concentrating on this book more as  our book club meeting is on February 12th.

What have you recently finished reading?

This week I finished The Taking of Annie Thorne by C.J. Tudor. This was an eARC that I was approved for last year but only just got around to reading it. I really loved reading this book and this was my first 5 star read for 2019. You can read my full review here if you haven’t done so already.

I also finished listening to The Sun Is also A Star by Nicola Yoon on audiobook. I don’t really know what I thought of this book. I was a little disappointed with it but can’t quite work out why. I am working on a review for this one but struggling to put my thoughts down so that they make sense to everyone. Hopefully I’ll have it done and will be posting it  over the weekend or early next week.

What do you think you’ll read next?

There are 2 books that I’m hoping to get around to reading and those are The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides and Just Before I Dies by S.K. Tremayne. These have been sitting on my Kindle since last year after I was approved for them on NetGalley.

What’s everyone currently reading, finished reading or planning to read this week? Feel free to leave a link to your WWW Wednesday or just a comment if you want below.
