Books I Need To Read!!!

So a few days ago I logged into NetGalley and Edelweiss to see what new eARCS I could request. But before requesting any I thought it would be a good idea to check my Approved shelf first.   Oh My Goodness!!! I was in shock I knew I had been approved for a few new eARCs recently but I didn’t realise I had so many waiting to be read and reviewed already.

I discovered that I have 12 books in total to read and review.  5 of these books have already been published and at least 2 more will be published by the time I get around to reading them. So now I am officially behind on my eARCs. I know this may not be a big deal to some and you’ve probably got more than this but to me it’s a big deal I normally like to post my reviews either before the books are officially published or just after. But since I’ve started reviewing ARCs this is the first time I’ve ever been behind on reviewing them.

Plus these are just my NetGalley and Edelweiss books, they don’t include the eARCs that have been sent to me directly by the authors.

I’ve now put myself on a NetGalley and Edelweiss ban until I can reduce my list to a more manageable amount. Although I know this ban won’t last long, but it’s worth trying.

I’ve set myself a challenge to have these read by the beginning of April so lets see how far  I can get.

Are you a NetGalley addict? if so how many books do you have on NetGalley shelf that you still need to read? Let me know down below.

    • I’ve never had a count down. But think if you haven’t downloaded them before they are archived then you get a countdown, but if you download them then you shouldn’t get the counter.

  1. Oh yes. I’m definitely a NetGalley addict. I’m in the uncomfortable position now of not being able to request anything for fear of losing my 80% feedback ratio. I worked to get it for 3 years so would hate to lose it…
