Happy Wednesday Everyone!!!
Hope you’ve had a good reading week.
This is my first WWW Wednesday since returning from my trip to India. So for this weeks WWW Wednesday I will be covering all the books I managed to finish while I was away.
What are you currently reading?
I started this book on the plane on the way back from India. So far I’m hooked and loving it. I should be done by the weekend hopefully.
What have you recently finished reading?
Even though I was having a fab time catching up with family and friends in India I managed to finish the following books.
This was a eARC that I got from NetGalley. It had been waiting to be read for a while, but finally got around to reading it and really enjoyed it. You can read my full review here.
I wanted to read this book after hearing lots about it but after finishing it I have mixed feelings. You can read my review here if you haven’t done so already.
Another anticipated book that I was looking forward to reading especially after reading and really enjoying The Book Thief. But sadly, I found this book a very disappointing read. you can read my full review here.
This was another audiobook that I managed to finish. I have mixed feelings about this book. Although I really enjoyed the book and wanted to keep listening to it, at the same time I felt there was something missing but can’t quite put my finger on it. My full review can be found here.
The book was a little slow to get going, but once it gets going I was gripped. My full review can be found here.
This was another book that I had been hearing lots about on social media. I was really excited when I found out it was available on NetGalley. I really enjoyed this one.
This was our December book club read. It took me a while to finish this one. It was a rollercoaster of a read with many ups and downs (mainly downs for me). A story that draws you in at the beginning but then fizzles out into a “meh” read. It had lots of potential to be a really good read, but for me it sadly didn’t deliver.
I finally got around to listening to this on audiobook. I’d heard lots of great things about it, but never got around to it until now. Now I know what the hype is all about. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the rest of the series. Keep an eye out as a review for this will be coming later on today.
This was my first Victoria Schwab book, which I really enjoyed. I will be posting my review for this book tomorrow hopefully.
What do you think you’ll read next?
I’m hoping to start The Secrets You Hide by Kate Helm. This was an eARC that I received last year but I’m behind on reading my eARCs so they are my priority at the moment.
