Mini Book Reviews – November 2018

Here are some Mini Reviews of books that I have read this month.

I would like to thank NetGalley and the publishers for a copy of the books in return for an unbiased review.

The Crochet Stitch Handbook by Betty Barnden

Format: Review Copy (Ebook)

Publisher: Quarto Publishing Group, Chartwell Books

Genre: Crafts & Hobby

My Review:

This is a great book for crocheters of all levels and abilities. Everything is described clearly and in so much detail with lots of useful and easy to follow diagrams. I have learnt some new stitches which I had seen before but never knew the names of before. A great book to keep close by especially for someone like me who has self-taught themselves to crochet.

Around The World in Every Vehicle by Amber Stewart

My Rating: 💙💙💙💙

Format: Digital Review Copy (Ebook)

Publisher: Quarto Publishing Group – QEB Publishing

Genre: Children’s Non-Fiction

My Review:

This was enjoyed by my nephew. It has lots of information squeezed into every page. My nephew liked looking at the different pictures but struggled to keep his concentration when it came to listening to the story. I think it was a bit to long for him.

Personally I liked this book and will probably be buying a few copies to give as gifts.
